Mus\u00e9e de France & Maison des Illustres<\/h2>\n

Explore 19th century-style furnished rooms and exhibition halls with permanent collections at the Balzac Museum. There are 2300 pieces in the collections: furniture, antique books, manuscripts (including three corrected proofs of The Lily of the Valley<\/em>), sculptures (including several originals by Auguste Rodin), paintings, engravings, drawings and photographs.<\/p>\n

The 2ha grounds around the ch\u00e2teau provide an idyllic place to stroll and enjoy views of Sach\u00e9 village, the Indre Valley and the \"tranquil and solitary valley\" brought to life in\u00a0The Lily of the Valley<\/em>.<\/a><\/p>\n
