<\/h2>\n<\/h2>\nTo mark the 150th anniversary of the death of George Sand (1802\u20131876), the Balzac Museum is presenting, on the second floor of the ch\u00e2teau, a selection of works from its collections retracing the history of the friendship between Honor\u00e9 de Balzac and the novelist.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Honor\u00e9 de Balzac\u2026 George Sand\u2026 To please all the readers who have become immersed in their work, these two great figures of 19th century literature admired and appreciated each other, and stuck together. In a century when e-mails and sms\u2019 are taking over from letters, immerge yourself in these letters full of shared respect, watchful friendship, and mutual support during the creation of two exemplary literary works.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Presented in the Balzac museum of Sach\u00e9, the temporary display puts light onto their relationship. Prints, early editions, and original manuscripts from the museum\u2019s collection are displayed to retrace the history of friendship between these two literary giants.
