Information: visiting during a heatwave
Are you planning a visit for the summer?
Due to the heat, temperatures may exceed 28°C in the second-floor rooms.
Access to this area is not recommended for people who are frail or have respiratory problems.
A water fountain is available in the cooler area on the ground floor.
In the event of a red heatwave alert, the museum is adjusting its opening hours and visiting arrangements:
- The museum is open from 8.30 am to 5.30 pm.
- Access to the second floor is closed from 1 pm.
- 50% discount on museum admission for everyone.
- Afternoon activities and events cancelled (rescheduled for the morning subject to specific arrangements).
A return to normal visiting procedures is planned once the red alert ends.
